A legal disclaimer

1. General Use

By booking or using the facilities at Cois Farraige Sauna, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. These are in place to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of all guests.

All sauna use is undertaken at your own risk.

2. Health & Safety Disclaimer

Sauna use exposes the body to high temperatures and may not be suitable for everyone.

By using our sauna, you confirm that:

  • You are in good physical health

  • You have no medical conditions that may be adversely affected by heat exposure

You must NOT use the sauna if you:

  • Are pregnant (unless advised otherwise by a medical professional)

  • Have heart conditions or blood pressure issues

  • Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • Have respiratory or heat-sensitive conditions

  • Feel unwell in any way

If you are unsure, please consult your GP before use.

Cois Farraige Sauna accepts no liability for any injury, illness, or health complications arising from sauna use.

3. Jewellery & Eyewear Disclaimer

For your safety and comfort:

  • All jewellery must be removed prior to entering the sauna, as metal can heat rapidly and cause burns

  • Glasses and other eyewear should not be worn inside the sauna, as they may become hot and cause discomfort or injury

We are not responsible for:

  • Burns or injuries caused by jewellery or accessories

  • Damage to personal items due to heat exposure

4. Safe Use Guidelines

  • Recommended session time: 10–20 minutes per session

  • Please remain hydrated at all times

  • Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unwell

5. Booking & 24-Hour Cancellation Policy

  • All sessions must be booked in advance

Cancellation Policy:

  • 24 hours or more notice: Full refund or option to reschedule

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: No refund will be issued

This policy applies to all bookings without exception.

Cois Farraige Sauna reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions where necessary for safety, maintenance, or operational reasons.

6. Personal Responsibility

All guests are responsible for:

  • Their own health and wellbeing

  • Following all safety instructions and posted rules

  • Using the sauna in a responsible manner

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Irish law, Cois Farraige Sauna shall not be held liable for:

  • Any injury, burns, or adverse health effects

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

  • Any indirect or consequential losses

8. Right to Refuse Entry

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who:

  • Appears intoxicated or unwell

  • Fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions

  • Poses a risk to themselves or others

9. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking or using the facilities at Cois Farraige Sauna, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

  • You accept all risks associated with sauna use

  • You agree to comply with all rules outlined above
